TOPSoccer Spring 2020 Info

TOPSoccer volunteers can be caregivers, aides, family members, peers, teenagers, adults, a soccer player, someone who works with children with special needs or someone with no soccer experience.  Volunteers should be at least 18 years old.

Buddies should be a minimum of 13 years old to volunteer for the MSC TOPSoccer program



The Spring season will be limited to 50 participants.  There will be a total of seven (possibly eight) sessions for the program

For ages 5 to 18:  We have expanded the age groups to accommodate older children.  Players will be divided at each session accordingly.

All players will need shin guards, black shorts and either soccer cleats or tennis shoes. Players will be provided with jersey and socks.


We need volunteer parents and buddies for players.  Buddies are invaluable volunteers. TOPSoccer buddies are not players. TOPSoccer buddies can be caregivers, aides, family members, peers, teenagers, adults, a soccer player, or someone who works with special needs children or someone with no soccer experience.  Volunteers should be at least 18 years old and are asked to attend each session.  

What is a TOPSoccer Buddy? •TOPSoccer Buddies are enablers. They are volunteers who participate with TOPSoccer players to enable player participation •Buddies do not need soccer experience, but should have a strong desire to enable TOPSoccer players to be successful and to have FUN.  Buddies can be a minimum of 13 years old (will have adult supervision).


Friday, 3/13/2020 - Parent meeting at Siegel Soccer Park (Meeting Room) at 6:00pm (during the first session)

The Spring season will include the following play dates:


  • Friday, 3/13/2020 - Session #1
  • Friday, 3/20/2020 - Session #2
  • Friday, 3/27/2020 - Session #3
  • Friday, 4/10/2020 - Session #4
  • Friday, 4/17/2020 - Session #5 (this session is tentative- this is the Bash in the Boro weekend, session will be held if there is field space available)
  • Friday, 4/24/2020 - Session #6
  • Friday, 5/1/2020 - Session #7
  • Friday, 5/8/2020 - Session #8 - End of Season Celebration

Rainout Date - TBD, if needed.
All play dates will be at Siegel Soccer Park (final field #'s TBD).


To register for the program, you must create a registration account on the MSC website.
Parents will add their information as the primary contact and then add your child as a participant.  Parent volunteers can register when they register their children.  All other volunteers will need create their own registration account.


Medals will be awarded at the end of the season to all participants. 

NO JEWELRY- absolutely no jewelry is allowed during soccer games. This includes but is not limited to earrings, facial piercings, bracelets of any kind, rubber bands around wrist and necklaces. NO hard hair accessories allowed. Piercings may NOT be covered with a bandage.
